In 1993 Mr. Martin
founded a software company
called, "IQ Technologies", which purchased the assets of Brightbill-Roberts
& Company of Syracuse, NY. IQ Technologies published and distributed, the pair
of popular DOS applications made popular by Brightbill-Roberts. Developing interactive multimedia computer
presentations for such things as trade shows and product demo diskettes, using Show
Partner F/X was a vertical market within the company and set the stage for future desktop
presentation development that evolved into the website development business that is MegaIQ
today.
Ron Robert, of Brightbill-Roberts, works
with MegaIQ today as a freelance programmer and systems designer. |
| In 1997 Mr. Martin
established IQ Consulting to provide website development services for local businesses in
Central Texas. As the
number of website clients grew and expanded beyond the local market, Mr. Martin called
upon Paul Buckland . . .

. . . and his team at Megalamedia, Ltd. to
contribute their website design and sophisticated multimedia skills to IQ's
projects.
This alliance has spawned
a collaboration we call MegaIQ. Together, Megalamedia and IQ Consulting have
designed and created some of the most dynamic websites on the Internet.

In 1998 with an
eye on improving the performance level and features available to its existing websites,
MegaIQ placed its own server on the Internet. This gives us the flexibility to design, create and develop sophisticated
websites without limitations due to a lack of server side support. It also insures
our website clients receive hosting services of a quality in
keeping with the high quality of our website designs and functionality.
In 2000 in order
to keep up with the dramatic growth of our client base and to insure the highest possible
quality of hosting service, MegaIQ upgraded to a more advanced
server to increase redundancy, add storage capacity, and deliver websites and e-mail
at incredibly higher speeds. |
| In 2001 MegaIQ introduced LIVE internet broadcasting of events.
The first such "WebCast" was for the Lakefest Drag Boat Races in Marble
Falls, Texas. In conjunction with this service, MegaIQ added an additional server,
dedicated to Streaming Media distribution. |
