The best ANTI-SPAM application that we have
found. This is FREE, open source which means anybody can write
additional modules to compliment the capabilities of the base application. Once
installed, Spamhilator can import your Contacts or Address Book from Outlook so those
people's e-mail will not be filtered. Using the various available filter
"plug-ins" you can choose from a variety of methods for filtering spam. When you do a Send/Receive from Outlook, Spamhilator collects your
mail and scans it before Outlook receives it. Spamhilator will store all the
messages it suspects in its temporary folder. You can go through the suspected
messages and mark them as either Spam or Non-Spam so that Spamhilator will LEARN from
those choices. After a while, through this learning process, Spamhilator will
eventually trap greater than 90% of the spam you are receiving.
The download is a .zip file containing 9 files. The
Spamhilator_0_9_9_4.exe file is the main program and should be installed first. Once
you have installed the base program you can run each of the other executables to load
